Dr. Azlan graduated with BSc Civil Engineering from University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST) in 1983 and MSc Bridge Engineering in 1986 and PhD Structural Engineering in 1993, both from University of Surrey, UK. He is currently the Chairman of Board of Trustees of Yayasan Pendidikan Hidayah Berhad
